Veldale Farms Ltd. consists of six enterprises: dairy, swine, cash crop, custom work, seed sales and agronomic services. The dairy division milks Holstein cows and raises all its own heifers. Cows and heifers are purebred and registered with Holstein Canada. Forages and grains are homegrown and stored on the farm. Cash crops grown are corn, soybeans, edible beans and wheat. Custom work consists of tillage, planting, harvesting, spraying, trucking, and combining. Seed sales are Dekalb brand corn and soybeans, and Quality Seeds brand of alfalfa and grasses. Wheat seed and custom cover crop mixes are all available through the seed enterprise. Our agronomic services include soil sampling, fertilizer recommendations, data management, prescription writing, field mapping, and much more!
