Now in the final two years of a full and challenging military nursing career that has brought personal, clinical, managerial and leadership challenges and opportunities. Clinical and managerial experience within various civilian Emergency Departments, an Advanced Life Support Instructor and Emergency Nurse Practitioner. Operational experience within deployed military hospital environments as well as within front line medical support environments both in the Balkans and the Middle East. Broad managerial experience within unit, regional and national headquarters and in particular within the field of Healthcare Governance and Assurance. Due to retire from the Army in May 2017 at the age of 55 and looking forward to continued service and taking on new challenges in civilian life.
