PAT Testing which is short for Portable Appliance Testing is the testing of appliances in your home or business, such as microwaves, toasters, portable heaters etc… All appliances are checked for faults, which may relate to a possible dangerous condition that wouldn’t be picked up on with just a visual inspection. All appliances that are tested are issued with an individual sticker stating that the appliance has been checked and is electrically safe.
