Established in 1993, Herbert House Sober Living Residences has been setting the benchmark in quality addiction recovery housing in Los Angeles, California for over 20 years! Nestled in the small town of Mar Vista, just bordering Culver City, West LA and the Venice, Santa Monica & Marina del Rey areas, we are one of the more affordable upscale sober living homes throughout all of Southern California. Our focus is strictly within the scope of helping mature adult men ages 25 and up who are new to the recovery process from drug addiction, alcoholism, and even process addictions such as gambling and sex. Unlike most sober living residences throughout West Los Angeles, Herbert House prides itself on enabling each resident to follow whichever recovery modality best meets their needs. This means that we are not among the vast majority which force residents to attend only 12-Step meetings as a path for recovery. Some commonly seen alternatives to AA or NA are: Judaism, Christianity, Agape, holistic approaches, SMART Recovery and others. Maybe you've recently completed residential drug rehab and are seeking an affordable upscale sober living in which to continue building your life in recovery. Or maybe you're coming off a recent relapse, for instance, and are looking for an alternative to the stringent restrictions often seen in traditional inpatient treatment.
