Industrial Services business : We deliver industrial services such as Materials Handling, Plant O&M, FM and more into the industrial sectors in both the UK and Hong Kong. Hargreaves Services operates as a supplier of solid fuels and bulk material logistics. Hargreaves Services plc sources, produces, processes, handles, and transports carbon-based and other bulk materials in the United Kingdom and Europe. It operates in four divisions: Production, Energy & Commodities, Transport, and Industrial Services. The Production division produces coal, coke, and smokeless fuel briquettes; recycles tires and other end-of-life rubber materials; and develops various small biomass power plants. The Energy & Commodities division provides coal, coke, minerals, and biomass products to industrial, wholesale, and public sector energy consumers. This division also offers raw materials supply of coal and biomass, as well as a range of services comprising port operations, storage, processing, handling, and redistribution by road, rail, or waterway for the electricity supply industry; sources and trades specialist raw materials, including pulverized fuel ash, furnace bottom ash, lightweight aggregates, fireclay, brick shale, foundry coke, metallurgical coke, coke breeze, calcined pet-coke, ferro-alloys, fluorspar, and bauxite to the foundry, steel, smelting, and refractory industries. The Transport division provides logistics services. It operates approximately 200 vehicles and 140 sub-contract vehicles consisting of artics, eight-wheelers, walking floors, and insulated vehicles; offers haulage and management solutions to the waste industry and local authorities; and transports bulk liquid products through its tanker fleet of approximately 200 motive units and approximately 350 specialist tanker semi-trailers, as well as provides sub-contract services. The Industrial Services division provides support services, including specialist engineering design, fabrication and project management, plant operation and maintenance, facilities management, and ash and residual product recovery services to the materials handling, power generation, and utilities industries.
