Florida Justice Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to help keep people out of the justice system. We give at-risk men and women a second chance by providing them with connections to pro bono legal representation, reentry assistance, connections to social services, and the tools they need to succeed. Our organization combines quality legal representation with technology and statistical analysis to address factors leading to disproportionately high conviction rates for the poor and people of color, as well as connections to ancillary legal and social services to help prevent re-offending. Additionally, the FLJC is in the process of creating a comprehensive case management and reentry program.
