Duro startade i Hagaström i Gävle 1930, i en tobaksfabrik från slutet av 1800-talet. Målsättningen var att tillverka tapeter av högsta kvalitet och därför fick företaget namnet Duro, vilket betyder stark och varaktig. Duros tapeter andas skandinavisk design. Vi är en av få tapetfabriker som har överlevt och idag är vi belägna i Sveriges äldsta tapetfabrik, och använder fortfarande våra originalmaskiner från resans början.
