At CDR, we help babies and toddlers with disabilities, delays, or those at risk for developmental delay. Our group of professionals, educators and therapists help these children walk, talk, eat and play. We help keep those who are at risk for developmental delay safer and healthier. We help parents grow into their role as their child's primary educator and teach them how to be the most important person in their child's early education and development. We teach other professionals to do the same. Our professionals include therapists, volunteers, family consultants, teachers and teachers' aides. CDR is supported by individuals, businesses, foundations, and civic groups as well as government funding. Our programs include: * Early Head Start * Infant & Parent Program * Parents as Teachers (PAT) * Maternal Infant Early Childhood Home Visiting * Fatherhood * Virginia Infant & Toddler Specialist Network (VA ITSN)** **The goals of the Virginia Infant & Toddler Specialist Network is to increase the educational level and skills of those who care for infants and toddlers, whether in family homes or in centers, and to link existing community resources that support high-quality care for young children. 501 (c) 3 providing services to children with disabilities and developmental delays and children at risk for delays in the City of Williamsburg, James City County, York County, and the City of Poquoson.
