Canadian Babbitt Bearings (CBB) is a total bearing solution provider: Design, reverse engineering, manufacturing, refurbishing & field services of bearings for the energy, mining, marine and nuclear industries. CBB is ISO 9001-2008 certified and serves both OEM's as well as end users. We supply Babbitt Bearings as well as Bronze, Thin-walled, Zinc alloy and Lignum-Vitae. With our sister company Canadian Specialty Castings ( www.cscastings.com), we can also design and supply bearing castings; thus a complete product. For hydro power generation CBB specializes in complete thrust bearings assemblies including the base ring, guide bearing, stationary ring, rotating ring and thrust block. CBB carries an impressive manufacturing equipment list. - Vertical turning capabilities up to 18ft(4.8m) diameter swing - Horizontal 5-axis milling up to 26ft(8m) long - Centrifugal babbitting up to 76''(3m) diameter - Grit blast & painting booth 40ft(12m) x 20ft(6m) x 20ft(6m) CBB also offers a proprietary epoxy based electrical bearing insulation which easily be machined to tight tolerances.
