In its core business field, Aygaz, • Distributes LPG as autogas, cylinder gas, and bulk gas, • Manufactures and sells LPG cylinders, tanks, valves and regulators • Markets LPG-operated devices Aygaz A.S. purchases from local refineries and distributes liquified propane gas. The Company also markets plastifiers, alcohols, solvents, aromatic hydro- carbons and general purpose plastics. Aygaz operates a fleet of ships and LPG filling plants. Its domestic unit is engaged in sourcing, storing, and distributing LPG to residential, commercial and industrial customers (via about 1,940 gas dealers and automotive gas stations). The group also produces storage tanks, cylinders, valves, regulators, and heaters. The International division, which includes a fleet of oceangoing tankers, exports LPG to about 20 countries. It is the second largest LPG producer in Europe. Aygaz, which was founded in 1962, is part of Koç Holding, a large Turkish conglomerate.
