서초역과 내방역 사이에 국군정보사령부가 위치해 있어 서초구내 간선도로인 '서초대로'가 막혀 있었는데 국군정보사령부의 안양 이전으로 서리풀터널을 개통해서 서초대로가 연결되었다. 서초역과 내방역간 편도 최소 10분 이상 걸리던 시간이 불과 1분 이내로 단축됨. 서초역 방향과 내방역 방향 모두 출구부에 시속 50km 과속단속 카메라 주의 ㅋ
