The cricket museum is located inside of the park, which is a paid area. The museum itself is free. The museum has extensive education material on the lifecycle of crickets. Live crickets at different stages of their lifecycles are also available for viewing in acrylic boxes. I wish the exhibits are better kept - as of now they are a little run-down. But you also have to cut it some slacks - it's a museum dedicated to crickets. It's likely that they are underfunded and they are doing the best they can.

The best feature of this place is the cold air conditioner when you come here in a hot summer day. And you can also enjoy the beautiful black and gigantic crickets in this place with your friends and Families.
此館係全台唯一專業養殖蟋蟀館，內有蟋蟀ㄧ生成長過程，約四到六個月，各種過程，出生 脫殼 交配到死亡，供有興趣者實際觀察，十分詳細。
來虎頭埤的話，一定要來蟋蟀館看看，館內展示蟋蟀各種生長期的狀態，懷孕/卵/幼期…蟋蟀屬漸進變態 (前往蟋蟀館為單行道(主線路叉路往下繞)，請依指標方向行駛，蟋蟀館接近主線路出口處)
免費參觀的蟋蟀主題展館，有不同階段的活體蟋蟀箱子可以近距離觀察
立意很好，只是缺乏管理或是沒經費，感覺很殘破，可惜了！
詳細展出實體的蟋蟀成長，是兒童學習認識生態的好地方！
