I wasn't a big fan of tofu, but enjoyed every plates here. Apparently it's not the tofu, it's me who can't prepare it...

We were fortunate enough to get seated downstairs almost immediately, even though we hadn’t made a reservation. They do have an English menu, and they were so courteous and accommodating. And the food! Beautifully presented, with a variety of flavors and textures. The yuba in particular was just delicious. If you’re interested in trying traditional Kyoto style vegetarian meals, this is an excellent choice.
Perfect for the quality and price
北野天満宮にお参りした後、生麩善哉をいただきました。すごく外が寒かったので、熱々おしぼりがありがたかったです。 生麩は手作りされているとのこと、胡麻、蓬、粟の３種類です。思ったより蓬のパンチがきいていました。小豆が潰されておらず、澄んだ汁でちょっと驚き。甘い小豆と砂糖汁といった感じ、初めてのタイプでした。 店員さんは親切でした。 PayPay使えます。
大満足です。 お昼の湯豆腐(松)をいただきました。 どれも美味しかったけど、生麩田楽が特に美味しかった！ 老舗のお店からだけ仕入れて、さくらい屋さんの調理の仕方でこういう味になるそうです。 ほのかな甘みで、もちっと、あぁとにかく美味しかった。 全体の量もすっかり満足できる量でした。 お勘定のときも、私の失敗でgoto eatのポイントが使えないかも？という場面ですばらしい対応をして下さいました。 北野天満宮へ行く時は、必ずまた予約したいです。
