A century old wet market located at a busy tram terminal, the only market with a track running through it in HK. A place for hard to find ingredients, it used to be populated by people from Shanghai and now Fujian ancestry, this is the place to meet and shop for everything you need for a sumptuous home cooked meal. A recent blaze torched the footbridge is now undergoing renovation limiting sitting rooms but still a convenient location for workers and operators alike to sit and eat a lunch box.

Love this place! Not many street market like this left in Hong Kong as they all moved indoor to modern markets. There are plenty to see, eat and buy here. Many stalls selling fruits, veggies and meats and they are super fresh and at a lot cheaper than supermarket. I like to shop here because I am able to buy things in small quantity unlike the pre-packed stuffs in supermarkets. This place is best visit in the morning using Tram bound for North Point as the tram cut right through the market.

A very handy place to get raw food stuffs for meal. What you can buy there: Seafood, Fresh Water Food, Meat, Vegetables, Fruits. Some cooked foods like BBQ Pork, Roast Pork / Chicken / Duck / Goose; and some prepared raw food stuffs like Tofu, Meat Dumpling, Wonton and uncooked noodles. Prices are cheap over North Point dustrict but environment is a bit wet and dirty - Don't worry the foods are clean and hygienic! Recommended shops: 富營豬 for Porks, 陳好記 for Seafood, and F & V for Fruits and Vegetables.
