The worse possible experience was made better by Jan in York. Her kindness, compassionate, and ability to just be still and listen in the moments I needed just someone to hear me was greatly appreciated. She was gentle and kind through the selection process and even understood when everything was simply overwhelming. I couldn't have gotten through choosing my husband's headstone without her. My daughter and I met with Jan to pick out a tombstone marker for my wife who passed on this past August. The meeting was very personal and informative as to the selections and prices. Reasonable suggestions and ideas provided by Jan helped us to make our choice. We even called Jan from the cemetery for guidance. Kind, considerate, available, and knowledgeable about cemeteries, markers, and options is my summary review.
I walked in not knowing anything about anything related to memorials. On top of that you're dealing with the worst tragedy there could ever be.
