TL;DR: Perfectly satisfying meal despite waiting for 2 hours. Went there at 6pm, got a heads up that it’ll be a 2 hour wait so we decided to walk around the area and come back at 7.30. Turns out it was done in 45 mins and we weren’t there when they served so they made a fresh pot for us, which was nice. The claypot rice met my every expectation - the rice was not mushy and nicely charred, chicken was super tender, and the salted fish wasn’t overly salted which complemented the dish very well. Was it really tasty? Yes. Will I want to wait 2 hours again for this? Probably yes.

Ordered a large claypot rice for 5 pax for 33 . Each of us able to eat at least 2 small bowls. Taste was great, servings of meats was generous.

Price was decent, portion was huge but taste wasn’t that great for me. We waited around 30min but seems like it’s the norm based on the reviews around here.

I always love to eat at this stall for long time when they used to be at basement but when they moved to Level 1 and I am not aware of it and didn’t eat it for years until one fine day I found out and continue to patronise their stall again. You will definitely need to queue for claypot rice which they need time to cook. One main reason I love their claypot rice is they use Boneless chicken meat. I really hate claypot rice with chicken bone bits because it may result you cannot really enjoy your meal or hurt your tooth while u chewing food and trying to spit the tiny bone. That’s really annoying. I think they worth the queue due to high demand and I don’t mind to eat dessert first while waiting.

Ordered at 5.18pm but waited very long ,more than an hour, coz they allowed Jump Queue to regular customers. But when u ask after half an hour they told OTHERS call in to order first. Again told me all need to wait for an hour. I ask them refund if they cant take e order but e lady told me pls wait for 10mins my turn . End up 1hr 20mins then our turn. Food can eat but not worth to queue. WILL NOT GO AGAIN.

Not sure why the reviews here seem pretty average but this is definitely a solid claypot rice by any standards! Rice was nice and fragrant with tender chicken bits. You can regulate the amount of black sauce and oil you wish to have as they have it separate in bottles. The salted fish is very salty but I Guess that’s what salted fish is for..

Solid solid pot of claypot rice, perfectly done rice that isn't soggy, filled with wok hei which makes it the star of the dish, rightly so! The chicken was so tender and juicy as well, pow! But do call ahead as even when I reserved, i had to wait about 15min. So I can't imagine if I haven't and had to join the queue. And maybe because I sat far away, by default the uncle will dress the pot with black sauce and oil for me automatically. It was too late to stop him as I'd prefer to do it myself. Not a bad point! Just something to take note if you're not fast enough, like I was

Rice was cooked really nicely and the Chicken was very tender. A pretty good rendition of claypot rice. The shop only opens at 12pm but u can try ur luck and go at 1130am and convince the owner to take ur owner. Waiting time about 15 minutes to 20 minutes.
