I chose Purnells to carry out a CVA on my care home business four years ago. One of the main reasons was because of their excellent website, where all detailed questions about any insolvency act was easy to find and understand. Most CVAs are not successful but mine was and Chris Parkman and his staff were excellent with dealings with difficult creditors and the CVA was approved. The company completed the CVA in August 2020 and has proved beneficial both to the creditors and the growth of the business. I met Chris Parkman recently to discuss options to rescue a company and, as usual, his advice and detailed knowledge gave me all the options required. This meant a successful negotiation with a difficult landlord resulting in a 50% rent reduction. A very good result and thanks to the detailed advice I received prior to my negotiations. I qualified as a Chartered Accountant many years ago and I have worked in an insolvency department but I would always recomment Purnells to any individual or company wanting to carry out a CVA or administration. A lot of insolvency practitioners do not have a good reputation but Purnells definitely has.
