The food was delicious, not a single fault with my meals and presentation was A-class. Price was extremely good and let me not start on the service. The service was A-plus, my host waiter I thank you a million times more, very professional and hardworking nothing was a bother for her. Overall the whole team tonight was pleasant and professional, would definitely come back I love great service.!!! Who said cheap can't be classy!

From the first moment you enter this restaurant they give you a good feeling. Very comfortable team, it is a happy place to to go out with buddies or with your date. delicious cooking, creative chief cook and stuff, decent pay and generous service. Highly recommended.

I met up for dinner with some friends, our waitress Deesha was amazing. She was really attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Our carver Mike, was also really nice and helpful. I would really recommend it and have already booked again with family. Everything is nice and clean.

This place never disappoints. They serve fantastic food for reasonable rates, there are no long waits even when the spot is loaded.

The best way to get a roost dinner on a sunday is to head off to Toby Carvery. Be warned you need to book ypur table in advance as it is a quite a popular place. The food is quite tasty. Normal or king size you will enjoy your fill. Good value for money. The refill soft drinks machine was not working properly. So it was lemonade for me. Not a bad experience all round.

On my visit today, 13th of December, I was met by the floor manager, a lady who asked rudely if the person I was with was from the same household. I explained that she was and was in fact, my cousin to which the lady snapped back with, "I didn't ask for that, I asked if your both from the same home." I said we was to which she asked me to follow her to the seating area. From the moment I sat down, I knew the service was going to be poor. As I got my plate of food, I realised the beef seemed undercooked. I asked the chef that was dealing with my food to check it himself, to which he immediately went to change my plate. I informed him that he should check the meat first, as if they don't have any other beef available, I may change. The chef quipped, is it ok or not? Totally unacceptable behaviour in my opinion. Furthermore, I asked the waitress Donna to change my plate as I wasn't happy with the state of the beef and was advised that I can get another plate of food. As I have sat down, Donna came to me and stated that I would have to pay for the 1st plate, I couldn't understand why as the beef clearly was undercooked. I asked to see the manager to make a complaint at the service, to which Donna went and returned a few moments later saying the first plate will not be charged. I asked Donna for refreshments, I could have a glass of water, which she acknowledged. However, on bringing my glass, she gave it to my cousin and walked off. Awful, awful service. Total waste of time and money, should have gone elsewhere.

Wonderful. Arrived hungry and ready for a feast, chef served us both a large and generous pile of grub which we consumed at a phenomenal pace. New cheesy bake dish was an unexpected treat. A warm and enjoyable meal in these unusual times.

Very bad experience, avoid this Toby and their sad and unprofessional staff at all cost ! They are seating you 5 cms to guys at the next table, after 5 minutes wait at the counter without anybody taking care of you. Then when you move your chair to be away from the guys touching your back, and they tell you that you cannot move, and it's ok because you are "back to back" ! Long wait anytime you ask for a drink or anything else, never any smile or nice word from anybody, the kind of people who should never be in contact with the public unless they guard a jailhouse. If you are unhappy to go to work, why not just stay at home and call sick ? Would be much better for the customers to stay at home and cook themselves since most food is either overcooked or undercooked ! We took some samples for analysis in the lab, and we shall see if hygiene is even respected. In the meanwhile everybody, please stay safe and away from that miserable Toby's of Woodford !
