Just like to thank all the staff who looked after molly dog last night. She's now resting in peace. All the staff were brilliant and caring.

I took my poorly pooch in Saturday afternoon, (I paid 200 deposit of a 400 estimate) after blood tests and scans it turned out he had cancer and internal bleeding, the vet suggested the kindest thing would be to put him to sleep, going back and seeing him I agreed and she did it there and then. The vet informed me they're not processing insurance claims through Portal. I got a phone call 08:30 monday morning chasing me for a further 271 & change, I understand the 400 was an estimate and have no problems paying but less than 48hrs and they're chasing me like I'm about to flee the country. I told the woman I'd be in Thursday or Friday as we have a form for them to fill in as they're not processing claims. I couldn't attend Thursday because of an emergency at work, Friday morning I get another call... Friday afternoon I go to pay the outstanding and asked the receptionist to get the form filled first, she scanned it to somewhere else and wanted to charge 18 admin fee. Not only do they want to charge me not to process the claim but they want to charge me more than the cost of processing the claim earlier in the year. I left without paying before I said or did something I'd regret... Money grabbing, insensitive, disgusting company, we've used St George's for various pets over the year but never again.

Booked my bunny in for her first needle, I did ask on the phone before I booked the appointment how much it would be and I was just told they don't know and would let me know when I arrive as they wasnt sure, as I got to the appointment they were already talking about packages for her as I got in the room to sign me up for which wasn't discussed with me yet, checked over my rabbit then I asked again how much the needle was which I was told again that she will get the information for me in a minute, then she got the other nurse to help her hold my rabbit and gave her the injection then started talking straight away about packages and felt very rail roaded into trying to sign Me up for the year, when I asked it was 130 which they wanted me to pay there and then, as I don't pick up much I had to politely say I couldn't do the package as I didn't have enough, then asked how much the vaccination was again, then I was finally told it was 55 for one vaccine, then again mentioning packages so they showed me one for 3 months which they showed me the leaflet was 45 and I could save myself abit of cash, so I decided to, got to the till and was told it was 55 when I queried it she said it was an out of date leaflet and showed me the up to date one which was 55 which I might as well as paid for the vaccine alone either way I felt very disappointed with the place, they seem very nice but very disorganised and seem to not want to tell u all the fact and want u to go for the expensive option. I know animals need the vets but it seems very much money orientated and won't be going back.

We unfortunately needed to take our old poochie there this evening as she took a massive turn for the worst despite seeing our own vet today. We really can not fault St George’s Emergency Vets for the professionalism, care and empathy shown to us tonight. Whilst it’s awful during this time to not be allowed in with our beloved animals, the vet that looked after our girl tonight couldn’t have been more lovely if he tried. He phoned as promised around 15 mins after her being taken in to give us all the info we required and explained it all so that we could make an informed decision. When the time came to say goodbye, he did it care, even giving her a stroke whilst he was doing it, and then left me to say my goodbyes. Obviously heartbroken at the loss of our much loved pooch, but she was at peace and was handled with care and compassion. Thank you to the wonderful staff here, you made an awful situation a little easier to deal with
