Top country pub / restaurant. Fast, friendly and welcoming service. Great wines and superb food. Lots of eatin, drinking and plotting places. Very highly recommended. I may even use the bar as a backdrop for a painting...

What a great idea. Great service. Lovely way to work. Food and unlimited tea and coffee. Looking forward to doing it again when out of lock down

Good food and despite being near the road it's very peaceful outside. The outstanding thing is the service. We took our mum who is mid-cancer treatment out for a treat - we've been looked after this afternoon by a young lady called Laura and her care and attention she's displayed to looking after a vulnerable person is exceptional. On top of that she's extremely personable and has a great sense of humour. She's a star and an asset to what is generally a very good pub
