Useless law enforcement department. They do not handle their own court cases, just push the problem to another town to do their dirty deeds for them. They also do not like to handle certain criminal cases, but push it to the state level. Most of the Wilton police are lazy and do not like to do any work, but goof off. I see most of the police violating traffic rules, but like to lecture others violating the same laws, talk about hypocrisy. This police department needs to be disbanded and they are a waste of taxpayer dollars. Most of them are rude, unprofessional, unethical, and very uneducated. All of the Connecticut law enforcement agencies must start handling their own court cases. Decentralize the court systems in Connecticut.

WE WERE VERY LOST...DRIVING SOUTH...ON THE MERRITT...AFTER BEING DIRECTED TO EXIT...BECAUSE OF A SERIOUS ACCIDENT...WHICH CAUSED THE PARKWAY TO BE CLOSED!...WE STOPPED...AT THE WILTON POLICE DEPARTMENT...& THEY WERE VERY KIND & PATIENT...& WROTE DOWN PERFECT DIRECTIONS...FOR US!!...WE HAD BEEN...ON THE ROAD...FOR SEVEN & A HALF HOURS...& WERE VERY GRATEFUL...FOR THEIR HELP!

I got pulled over by SGT Sisenstein this morning 8/3/2016 for being on my cell phone. I just wanted to deliver some positive feedback to him and his department. Although it sux that I got a ticket, the experience was very pleasant. The Sgt was very polite and professional, he didn't take up to much of my time and I was still on time for work. Thanks for not being jerks Wilton PD!
