Attention visitors, please read the transportation rules very carefully. The security army of Wiener Linien is not known to show any mercy, especially if you do not follow their orders immediately. There's are several reports and videos of people getting injured or forced to the ground because they were not caring covid make. Best luck, survive the ride.

I was in the ÖBB train and I showed my student pass for the first semester. The inspector asked me for 105 euros. I'm a foreign student and I didn't know that the pass has just expired the last week. 105 euros is extremely hard for a foreign student in those covid situations. That's unfair.

When I called the Kundenzentrum after the machine at Schönbrunn swallowed my 20 the same apployee kept yelling at me and hanging up before finally sending someone. The two employees who finally came didn't want to do anything nor let me know their names. I went to Karlspatz to file a complaint but never received my money back.

My experience with the Weiner Linien during our stay in Vienna was very positive. Ticketing system can be somewhat confusing for things outside the Wien Kern but overall very positive and a very good value. Subways, trams, trains and buses were clean, very efficient and always on time. I always felt very safe on these as well and they were never that crowded even during the high season around Christmas time.

Small-size dogs, even mine that is 6 kilos, must pay full price for a 48-hour pass, if not in a box. Absurd.

I was highly disappointed with the service that I received with this company. The way in which the ticket officers and conductors treated me, lacked respect and understanding. As I am an English speaking tourist, little clarification and information was provided to me, and staff were very dismissive and rude. One of the conductors was so offensive that he even made me cry and threatened me. I felt bullied and violated. When I tried to get clarification from offices regarding the treatment, I was dismissed and not understood. I will definitely avoid using this service ever again.

Between Opera and St Marx, line 71 is overcrowded every morning and every evening. Passengers are squeezed like crazy and some cannot get on board. The tramway passes every 7 minutes, so Wiener Linien have room to fix the situation (such as a 3 min frequency) but they don't do it. Moreover, they cancelled the extension of line U5 to St Marx despite the surge of population in the area which started a few years ago (Eurogate 1) and will worsen in 5 years (Eurogate 2). The policy of Wiener Linien is a shame for the whole city: in addition to wienese inhabitants, tourists suffer too (there are numerous hotels between Opera and St Marx).
