A magical experience to remember for life. The lodge is idyllic, the dogs are extremely friendly, and most of all, the hosts are gracious and knowledgeable. This is my second trip with Muktuk (a 1 day trip in the summer, and a 3 day trip in the fall), and certainly not my last.

We went on a sledding trip through the trails. It was excellent! Jeff was a brilliant guide and the dogs were lovely. We did a whole day trip which allowed us to get a good handle of the sleds. I would recommend the whole day trip for sure. (Note: we live in Whitehorse so are used to the weather).

Amazing! What an unbelievably cool experience. The guides are so friendly and helpful, and the dogs are amazing! I was a little curious about any facility keeping over a hundred animals, but they were so clean and cared for and HAPPY. I was also nervous about manning a dogsled, but it was incredible! If you have the chance to even just visit, GO for it. Can't recommend it more highly.

Incredible! Beautiful little property and staff that goes above and beyond. The dogs are well cared for and happy. The guest lodge is super cozy and quaint. Perfect for a relaxing getaway away from the city!! Can’t wait to go again.

My half-day dog sledding experience was excellent. Muktuk provided warm boots, pants and a coat for the trek. Our guide at Muktuk was clear with his instructions and helpful and supportive during the expedition. The trail itself, on the frozen Takhini River, was easy to navigate and beautiful after all the snow which has fallen in past days. I recommend Muktuk Adventures for a very enjoyable dog sledding experience!

A truly wonderful experience. Despite the cold weather, we got to take the dogs out on a number of adventures, in addition to seeing other things around the area. Sledding down the river was definitely a highlight, and the dogs were well behaved. Wonderful staff, nice setting.

Spent one night at the Shilo Lodge (our second time at Muktuk in the last two years) and it didn't disappoint. Definitely a place for dog lovers, but the hospitality was top notch, with a great breakfast. We'll make this a part of any trip through Whitehorse.

Went for the half day of dog sledding. An absolutely wonderful place, they geared us up taught us about th dogs and we had an absolute blast. Highly recommended
