I remember George Irvin from the funfair at Hampton Court in the 1970s. The rides were just 10p a go. Lots of fun times. I also worked there in the early 80s in the school summer holidays, marshalling guests on and off the rides, collecting the fares setting-up and dismantling the ride. George came from a whole family of showmen.

This was q really nice place. Normally in these funfair the men or woman who operate the ride are really rude but these guys were very nice and would even tell jokes to scared riders. Another thing is that you just pay 7.99 and get all rides free. The only bad thing was they sell the food really expensive but it is still really good. Definitely go to ash burton park and check this place out
We had not good experience with fun fair. Normally we visit most of fun fair with my son. I felt roundwood prk had very few ride and small space. Actually we paid for entrance for this useless fun fair. We totally disappointed this time. Not enjoyed at all. Staff at ride also felt rude and unattended. Sometime entrance also free which make sense if it's paid then this ppl shld respect us as well
eww when i went on 1 of these rides they told me i was below 36\ but hey i was 36\ then the lasy said Oops sorry •
