Bar Dia is what I call the local polish gastronomic culture mirrored in one place. Bar Dia is not located in the old town of Warsaw or its city center. However, it's a meeting point of different classes. Workers, pupils, mother's with children but also business people with a suit meet here to taste the traditional polish cuisine. Although the staff speaks almost no English they are very polite and helpful and provided us with an English Menu. They offer a large variety of polish specialties and everything we tried was really delicious. Recommended is to accompany your meal with the local Vodka flavours, like the locals like it, which was the best Vodka I ever tried. As to the prices you will surprised that you can have a full meal with as little as 5 Euros.

I think all tourists should try here for an authentic taste of Poland. A taste of food like going to a Polish Grandma, without the discomfort of a milk bar. Comfortable booths, with beer/wine or an iced bottle of vodka (as the owner would prefer you to have :-) to accompany truly traditional Polish food, at fantastic prices. I would recommend: - Zurek (a sour soup with sausage and egg) - Kielbasa (polish sausage) - Pierogi (i personally like the fried ones) Enjoy!
Excellent quality polish food! It’s most popular for lunch with special daily menu for PLN20 including soup, main course and drink. But the food is served all day. It’s a place where all social classes meet. The staff is super friendly and speaks good English. Good for cheap drinks in the evening but bear in mind it’s not a fancy place.

Lovely meal and staff. For 4 ppl 120zt plus drink is not bad
One of my favorite bars, good food, nice people working there, vodka is always cold and ice'y :) draft beer is also good
