I was really surprised to read the two very critical reviews and feel quite strongly that there must be another side to these comments. Our experience of Smart Bathrooms was the complete opposite and from asking for initial advice, planning, sourcing, delivering, coordinating the various elements and exchanging items we were impressed with Alan Higham’s knowledge, advice, suggestions, customer focus and professionalism. We used Smart Bathrooms to advise and supply equipment and fittings for the renovation of 2 bathrooms. After a number of visits to the showroom, to discuss various options and layouts, where we modified our thoughts and requirements a number of times, as we reviewed the different items and tiling options, we ordered all the items for the 2 new bathrooms. These were all delivered on time and in perfect condition as promised. As we were phasing the two renovations, Alan delivered the appropriate items when we needed them rather than us having to store these ourselves. All items were exactly as ordered, and having been installed now for a few months, we are absolutely delighted with the products, the service and the value for money we received. I personally would not hesitate to recommend Smart Bathrooms to anyone, and have already recommended them to many friends who have admired the finished rooms. David, Chester

Last Friday I had occasion to visit this shop.I left a message for someone to call me to arrange a visit. Nobody rang me back so don't expect a call back. Walking around the shop floor I was asked many times by a gentleman could he help me.It was a bit unnerving on the 6th time. When I was walking around I listened to a group of men NOT from the kitchen business as its a separate businees but staff with Smarts polo shirts on talking to shop floor staff locared in the general area talking about immigration very loudly and within my earshot.The comments were not pleasant. I have just received the most odd and rather unnerving call from the Bathroom Department.I wanted a quote for my en suite.Quite a while ago I had a quote for my family bathroom from Smarts. Their product offerings and prices did not meet my requirements.I did not go ahead.I thought I would give them another chance as I am extremely keen to support local businesses. The call that was returned only after I had chased them was not only rude but unsettling.It was all going well until I gave my address.I was informed nobody will visit you because you did not go ahead with your family bathroom.You sourced your products from elsewhere.He knew this.How I asked? Because I know the installer. So customers if you get a quote for one bathroom and do not select them do not bother giving them any more business as they don't want it. It's a very odd place with very odd staff. Very overpriced and extremely over priced.Like the other reviewer there is a more nasty side to this company if you cross them. My advice is stear clear of all of this company especially the Bathrooom dept.Their Kitchen company gentleman is pleasant and a proper gentleman.
