While some of the staff were very nice we found the communication was terrible. My father was admitted on a Friday morning and we never could reach anyone about a health plan for him until the following Tuesday. I called in numerous times to speak with his Doctor and never received a call back until after I had a meeting with staff and the CEO of the facility. On the day they sent him home to us, they left his feeding tube in by mistake, and nobody ever apologized about it. Before being transferred there from Hillcrest Hospital they made us feel that there were Doctors there on a regular basis. This was untrue and it was mostly manager types caring for the patients. Some of the nurses there are not even full time employees, they are just brought in on an as needed basis. Unfortunately I would not recommend this facility. - Update to my review: After posting this review the Hospital did contact me and they were very apologetic and sincere. They never asked me to remove the review or edit it. I am editing this because I felt that they were sincere in their apology and I believe they will try to make sure this does not happen to anyone else

Do not let a love one go to Regency Hospital. They ignored a feeding tube that was placed in my husband's stomach by Cleveland Clinic. The tube was placed the day before he was transferred. The staff thought they were smarter than Cleveland Clinic and fed him solid food. They said his chewing was OK thus the solid food. Chewing was not the problem, swallowing was. The food went into his lungs when he swallowed it. I had him transferred out of Regency and back to Cleveland Clinic where he suffered for six weeks and eventually passed from respiratory failure due to pneumonia. (Aspiration pneumonia caused by the food going into his lungs.) He didn't have to die. In my opinion Regency Hospital caused his death.

I LOVED my team here- the nurses had such beautiful personalities. They took time to sit with me and help me get stronger. The rehab girls are fabulous. This is the place to be if you want to get home fast

I have been in the hospitals for over 50 days, the staff here made me feel special, the made my life seem important and getting me back home. Today I am home and would recommend Regency Hospital Cleveland East highly
