Wan Chai market is a great place to grab a variety of mostly imported meat, seafood and fresh produce. There are also numerous side stores that sell southeast Asian condiments, herbs and other complimentary food items. Cut flowers and small potted house plants are always on offer and upstairs is my personal favorite: fresh tofu! The wet markets are cash-only and a few of the more popular produce stalls won't accept your business if you start trying to pay with small coins. Be warned, if you don't speak Cantonese or of you're not familiar with the going price of seafood you may end up paying a heavy "tourist tax" so my advice would be to observe the locals and see what they're paying before you enquire, especially if you're after fish.

Nice great traditional market. If you come Hong Kong, don't forget to make a try at this market. You will find it freely packages.

Local and Traditional Wet Market. If you want to experience and have a taste of local culture, you definitely need to visit this place. However, it's not recommended for sensitive eyes and noses! Apart from the wet market, there are tons of small stalls and shops at the adjacent streets.
