Dirty, poorly kept school, litter everywhere. We didn't even view this school for our children after going there for swimming lessons! The kids all come out swearing and smoking. The place needs knocking down and rebuilding. If you want rebellious kids with a 20 a day habit and a poor education, send them to this school. When ofsted went in the kids turned the desks over and the school lost it's performing arts status. This school brings our village down.

I go to great Wyrley highschool and they take bullying very seriously if u want you're child to have a good school send them to great Wyrley highschool

My daughter has recently joined yr 10 at Great Wyrley high after relocating from Sandwell. Although I was very much aware that the schools ofsted report was far from perfect, I can honestly say never judge a book by its cover and don't be miss guided by other people's views (word of mouth can be very damaging). Since joining the school in September my daughter has come home ever school night and with enthusiasm she told us exactly what she learned. She gets up in a morning and looks forward to going to school (something she's dreaded at her old school). There is discipline in class and this is something that many schools lack. Well done to the staff and keep up the hard work!
