Great food and brilliant service. The owner's son was educated in Edinburgh and has a Scottish accent and was so helpful. The chef (father of the guy with Scottish accent) even came out and asked us if we enjoyed our food. He was a warm lovely man. A fantastic restaurant experience and our thanks to the owner's son for looking after us.

An absolutely superb meal out. All of the seafood was extremely fresh and prepared to perfection. We ordered both the Al Gatto Nero antipasto platter and the Mixed Fish grill, and it was just the right amount of food for two. The wait staff was attentive and friendly throughout our meal and made us feel super welcome.

A disappointment. The only positive is the location as it’s nice to be sat next to the water and the tiramisu. The service is very poor. We had to wait 1 hour for someone to take our order. We ordered papadelle with prawns and it was a kid portion, very small, but with big flower petals which made it look big. The flavour was bitter. I had better pasta elsewhere. The price is way over the top for what they offer. I don’t recommend coming to this place.

Most of the food and service was excellent: we were served a nice glass of prosecco upon arrival, and my husband and I really enjoyed the spider crab tagliatelle. However, the experience was marred by two things. First, along side our pasta, we ordered the \Verdure Cotta\ or \Cooked Vegetables\ for about 8 euros. With this came the expectation that we would receive a dish of a few different cooked vegetables. Instead what we received was a single roasted tomato, cut in half, with some parmesan on top. To be clear, the tomato tasted great, however to order \Cooked Vegetables\ and receive \A single cooked vegetable\ is a little disappointing, especially for the price. Second, while the service was friendly whenever a server interacted with us, we felt invisible for most of our dining experience. Having the proper visit spacing between the server and your dining party can be wonderful for conversation and the dining experience as a whole, however this spacing went beyond that to the point of feeling forgotten by the wait staff. Plenty of tables around us were regularly visited by wait staff, however we were in almost constant need of having to flag staff down for whatever our needs were. Overall, give the many recommendations this restaurant has received, we were a little let down by the overall experience. Especially given the price tag

Very good and fresh seafood! Service is excellent. The waiter recommended us to get the soft shell crabs since it's in season and we love it. Definitely will recommend this place to anyone visiting Burano.
