This place was a good experience! Was my first time eating Ethiopian food and one thing to note is that you only use your hands for the food. I got the vegetarian combo and I think it’s definitely worth the small amount you pay, because it can easily feed 2 people. The flavours were strong, good spice and the sour bread balanced flavours out well. Being that this is my first Ethiopian experience, I don’t have a benchmark comparison... but if you’re looking for a new eating experience at an affordable price, definitely come here! It’s worth the drive

Axum was a wonderful spot for Ethiopian food. The food was very flavorful, injera was great and a good portion. I forgot my soda but that's probably for the best. Definitely worth a visit. Thanks Axum for a delicious lunch! Will definitely be visiting again

I am shocked! after booking our table 4 hours ago (on NYE!!) We arrive at 7pm for our booking and they say they have ran out of food.... restaurants close at 8pm in Vancouver tonight, so there is no way we will get another reservation now. Thanks for ruining our NYE and not being helpful by calling us in advance. They were not even aware we had made a booking DO NOT recommend!
We met on Family Day to have lunch but the fragrance/odor was unbearable (insence??)so we had to leave. I'm told that the food is really good.
