What a fantastic restaurant! They are so friendly warm and humble and the food is very flavourful. It's so important that we support local and their families as they stay in business because of us and if the food is great like it is. It's the first place I want my money to go to. Beautiful families! They also do vegan meals! This one was awesome!

One of the best foreign restaurant we ever was. The other costumers were locals so it was a very good sign!! The quality was perfect!! We recommend this !!! I only put 5 stars because there is no 6 stars
normally I go to axum on Hastings and love them was in a rush and decided to go here for convienent reasons. worst decision. was looking forward to introducing a friend who had never had Ethiopian to the cultures food and got 30 of basically just bread/pancake with next to no actual meal. the owners were curt and off put until I tipped then plesant (payed when ordered not at pick up at their demand....red flag i should have headed too). their offering shrine was a good 1/6 of the floor space which wouldnt have been a thing if it didnt look like it was a bactiria haven. once I got home I was so dissatisfied I ended up ordering pizza for my guests because I would have been ashamed to give them what was served. - and as a side note take out in Styrofoam if u care about that type of thing. don't waste your time or money...
First time trying Ethiopian food. We were immediately welcomed and directed towards a great sharing option. The meal, as well as the service was wonderful throughout. Can't wait to return here with more friends!
Located at the heart of commercial drive, this is family restaurant. The owners are from Ethiopia, really nice and accommodates all your food preferences, combo plate is only 15 per person.. which is really cheap for a full dinner. They also provided us unlimited injera. Food tastes like comfort home-made and delicious.
