2000 to 2005. What a wonderful time to be alive in 29 Palms, California. Smith's Ranch drive- in was so much fun! I miss the Ranch!

Awesome place to go see a movie in Twentynine Palms. More so when you consider it's the only thing you're in the area other than live performance Theater 29. But this place is really good it's only five dollars a person I mean come on what other movie theater can you go for only five dollars? Also they have really good deals at the concession stand comparing to other theaters it's cheaper than I've ever seen before. Also since it is a driving you could even bring your own food and eating your car that is also a plus.

My first time ever trying the drive in theater! We absolutely love it. We didn’t know that most of people bring their own radio so we were a bit worried about our car dying after having it 45 hours run for the radio but it was fine. At the end of the movie, they offer boosting you up if your car doesn’t start, too. I thought that was a nice touch. We also didn’t know people don’t bring outside food as a courtesy so we packed our own food but next time we would like to try their hot dogs and pop corns! The restroom seems pretty clean, which was a def plus for me!
