A garden is always nice, but what happened to the grass?? It was al dried up and dead. There have been high temperatures these couple of days for sure, but how about maintenance. Give it some water. The flowers were nice and attracted lots of bees. It is not that big, so you can combine it with the Konstantinbasilika. There are public restrooms, not that clean though.
If you're in Trier, you definitely need to check this garden out. The greenery reminds you of a perfect spring day. The Palace is also quite a sight. Mark it off your map!
As it was somewhat hidden behind the Roman basilica, this fairy-tale like garden and palace truly surprised me. Great place to sit down, have some food and enjoy the beauty of the garden.
