Cute little place with amazing matcha and Japanese sweets. Matcha is served in a traditional way. Will come back next time when visiting Torun.

A taste of Japan in Toruń! The Japanese desserts are quite tasty and come with their own culinary experiences. The matcha tea is authentic and fresh! Highly recommend!
Place is totally authentic with amazing Japanese sweet dishes that are MILD and HEALTHY. You can have matcha or hot/cold sencha, the best green tea in the world. Run by hardworking, wonderful and polite Japanese people (which adds to the authenticity). Menu is short (with variations in each item) but, hey! all great places have limited menu! :-) We tried most of the dishes. We were staying in apartment in the same building and almost missed the place, as it was not open when we were checking out. Thank god to our curiosity, we went back, after it opened for the day! And boy, were we thankful, we did! Just for their effort, the prices are worth paying. The place has a \personal touch\, missing from most eateries nowadays. The moment we walked out of the place, my husband's first words were \I truly hope such great place is able to pull on long enough\. Me (from India) and my husband (from Poland) wish you GOOD LUCK from bottom of our hearts! Keep up the good work and dont change ur warm ways. We are from Warsaw, and everytime we will visit Torun, this is definitely going to be our hangout place. Typically, its close to impossible, to make me happy, be it restaurant, hotel, apartment anything; but Kotonoha just won me over! (My husband was totally surprised ;-)) Its a pity, 20-30 people line up outside every lody (ice cream) place (thats loaded with unhealthy sugars) and ignore such GEM of a place, like Kotonoha.
Świetne miejsce z pysznymi przysmakami. Daifuku truskawkowe skradło moje podniebienie. Konieczne musicie tam zajrzeć!
Nie da sie dac nizszej oceny. Wchodzac tam musisz byc przygotowany na typowo japonska kuchnie, a raczej cukiernie. Brak dobrej kawy, ale czy w Japonii pije sie kawe? Za to matcha typowo japonska! Do tego slodycze, ktore w Polsce naprawde ciezko znalezc. I obsluga... Japonska para z najwyzsza kultura, mili i usmiechnieci. Polecam osobom lubiacym cos nowego.
Bardzo fajna przestrzeń. Miły i przyjazny urzędnik. Bardzo pyszne japońskie słodycze! To jest mój ulubiony! Gorąco polecam 和菓子なら絶対ココ！！ フルーツ大福は日本でも味わったことのない組み合わせもあって最高に美味しいマスカルポーネを使った和菓子も格別
Niesamowity klimacik i do tego przekochana obsługa która serwuje przepyszne japońskie słodycze. Bardzo bardzo polecam bo nie ma lepszego miejsca żeby zasmakować trochę Japonii
