Beautiful local county park a real family favourite. Lots of space to run around, interesting lakes and woodland areas to explore. Thatched cottage village with a fabulous pub known as The Drum at its heart or walk up to Cockington Court and experience local crafts on show, live glass blowing daily. Horse and carriage rides available around the lakeside and then for some quiet reflection pop into the beautiful church all set within the country park grounds.

Beautiful scenery with so much to explore around the area. Although there isn’t much to do inside the Manor House itself with COVID restrictions. The play area was also closed. I spent the day here looking around craft shops, going on woodland walks, admiring art work and flowers. It’s surrounded by a lovely village where there’s loads of craft and gift shops. This would be a really nice day out with the family. There was some people having picnics on the big field outside the Manor House, although they did have a little cafe inside(tea rooms).

Had a very pleasant walk there, lovely open space, can't wait for cricket. Lovely duck ponds, and flowers are starting at last. Nice cuppa etc. Great few hours of fresh air.

This park and old mill and cottages are the best preserved working village I have ever seen, absolutely beautiful, OK for dogs, restaurants there to, dogs will have a great runaround there. Just a very beautiful village, well worth a visit. Enjoy, PS council car park on site. X

Nice space for dog walking. Dogs can walk off the lead. Clean footpaths if you don't want to get muddy. Car parks right beside too.
