Saw the positive reviews here and decided to try it out. We were seated immediately outside under a massive parasol. The service was quite albeit kurt. However my partner and I appreciated the directness of the staff. The owner came out and chatted with us. And by the sounds of other interactions, this is a great place for regulars. The main meals were great. Not too much but just enough for a good lunch. Personally I would say to stay away from the add-ons. I had the 'garlic fries' and there were not bad, but for an extra 6 I didn't think they were worth it. Overall, a nice pleasant place to grab a good lunch.
Very much enjoyed my visit. Good food and very friendly staff. They know their regulars and its a great neighborhood place.

Theirs is a business that has been around since the 80s. Great place for a lunch or breakfast in Yorkville. Food comes out fast and you'll be able to even call your order ahead of time if you're in a rush. Owned by a man named Tom who is very hospitable with all of his diners. They serve wraps, sandwiches, soups and fuller meals with fries. Expect to see your usual Canadian-style type fare mixed in with Mediterranean dishes. Their coffee is strong and their soup is always solid.
