Nancy planned my wedding while adhering to proper Covid-19 regulations, outdoors, with only three months time frame. I'm so absolutely in love with how everything turned out. She was professional, she had visuals and write ups. She did everything I wanted and I feel it had my personality all over it. My mother said she wished she'd knew about her when she got married! She's an inspirational photographer and her property is absolutely gorgeous. I wish everyday could be my wedding day!

Nancy is an excellent photographer. Very easy to work with and my daughter just loves her. We have been going to Shine since she was a baby. I like that she offers prints because in this digital world we live in and with my busy lifestyle, I never have time to get prints done. This way you can order the prints when you review the pictures and they come out amazing with great quality. I highly recommend Shine Photo Studio for any of your photography needs.
I signed my daughter up for the Shine Photo Modelling Program this year and she absolutely loves it. Nancy is teaching them modelling techniques, such as flow posing, working with props, product shoots, hand and nail posing and editorial posing are just some of the techniques she is teaching the students and looking forward to seeing the students learn more. Nancy makes it fun for them, giving them a positive sense of community which I find is very important as well they help with volunteering within Thunder Bay. I would definitely recommend Shine Photo Studio Modelling Program, Nancy is absolutely wonderful with the age group my daughter is in and her photos are amazing and so professional. If anyone is considering going to Shine Photo Studio for the Modelling program or have photo shoots. Totally worth it.
Like thousands of other couples, my son Brandon’s destination wedding plans fell apart in may this year. His Fiancé Khim and Brandon both wanted to get married this year, however both were busy with their careers and didn’t know where to start to arrange a wedding to take place this summer. I saw an article about a local business called Inspired weddings-and after reading the article I knew this was the answer to their dilemma as it was one stop shopping for the whole wedding. Everything is taken care of by Nancy; venue, decorating, officiating, photography.... she takes care of it all! When the date was set, I enquired as to the possibility of having a catered outdoor dinner on the venue property. Nancy agreed to this and made the arrangements to make it possible for us. She then coordinated with the caterer we had chosen. The wedding venue and decor were breathtaking on the day of the wedding and it was all very well thought of by those in attendance. The staff was professional and the ambience made the occasion feel very intimate yet classy. The photography was amazing and everything was perfect. The entire day was wonderful and we had the wedding my son and fiancé dreamed of.,I wholeheartedly give Nancy my enthusiastic endorsement! If you are looking for the perfect no fuss wedding this is the answer to your prayers!
We have purchased Nancy's Mud Puddle Package twice to capture the first year of our children's lives. She always has creative ideas for adorable photos and is very patient with the little ones. Nancy created gorgeous newborn pictures into works of art which proudly hang in our home. We tell everyone we know to go see Nancy at Shine for beautiful pictures! She is worth every penny!
Nancy at Shine is absolute magic. My girls just had their Santa pictures done but they weren’t ordinary Santa pictures. My kids got to spend some one on one time with the Claus himself. It left such a lasting impression on my oldest that she went to bed last night saying goodnight to Santa through the Magic Portal they were gifted and this morning she woke up asking for Santa. After having a little bit of a rough year with both our girls it was so nice for them to experience a little bit of Magic. Nancy has been with our family since day one and her photos are absolutely gorgeous. In fact, we won’t go with anyone else!
We've done many sessions with Nancy, and have always been thrilled with the results! I have a very active 2 year old, who isn't always the most cooperative, but Nancy is great with him, and super patient, and has always been able to get great pictures!
