Colin at Thorpe Garage has been servicing / looking after my cars for the past 38 years and can always be relied on to provide a first-class service. He always keeps me updated with anything that may need doing so there are no nasty surprises when the car is ready for collection. I cannot recommend Thorpe Garage highly enough. Colin is a total pleasure to do business with. We have a fleet of small vans that always need servicing and repairs. We have been through many mechanics in the past, with mixed experiences. Until we discovered Thorpe Garage. Sure you can go to one of the big chain places and get your car fixed for peanuts, but you are never really sure if the work was done, and whether it was to any kind of decent standard. Colin is meticulous when carrying out a service, I think with every vehicle we have taken to him it genuinely drives and feels better when we collect after the work is finished. He is not the kind of person to cut corners or pull the wool over your eyes. He now also takes care of all our personal cars as well. So if you are looking for an honest mechanic who produces great quality work at a fair price, this is your guy, look no further.
Very pleased with Colin’s help with my broken dipstick tube. The tube is a bigger to get to on my car so was frantic about finding a garage who would be able to help out quickly. Called on Monday and had it all sorted by Tuesday. Very pleased with how straightforward Colin is and with being able to help with not much notice in advance.
