Without a doubt the single best decision I made was to have Katie as my doula for my home birth. As a first time parent, I was nervous and she really put me at ease. When my labor was challenging, she helped reassure my husband and gave me useful suggestions to work through the progression of stages. And her help and encouragement after giving birth in the early days was so so needed. She is friendly, warm & welcoming, informative, and supportive - truly the kind of person you want for your birth. I will always ALWAYS tell people to get a doula, but I will 100% always send Katie's name with that recommendation. Love her!
Katie is amazing! We hired her as a postpartum doula and even though all of our plans were foiled by the pandemic (April baby- I think her first official covid one), she didn’t even miss a beat! I felt supported completely even if it wasn’t how I envisioned it. She was amazing at helping me work through all things new baby and big sister. I highly recommend her!
Before hiring Katie, my husband and I had no idea what a postpartum doula was but boy were you we thankful to have her part of our team for the first six weeks of our son’s life! Katie always seemed one step ahead of my thoughts and needs, immediately getting to work once she arrived at my house. Never was a moment wasted. Her help allowed my mind and body to rest , gave me confidence to parent while my husband was at work, offered me baby care techniques, genuinely cared about my mental and physical well - being. Her help was appreciated especially after our families , who live out of state, left and my husband went back to work. Just to have someone to talk too was so nice! I highly recommend Katie. She is an expert at her craft and made my transition into the 4th trimester so much more smooth.
Katie trained me as a labor and postpartum doula. She is in credit knowledgeable, organized, supportive, and kind! I loved taking her classes!
