*Creative and calm space. I did Yoga with Miriam (light your own lamp). The room was temperature controlled, calm, and the lighting was appropriately low. There was a quiet space maintained outside the rooms to respect attendees. Yoga mats were provided- a great idea especially for beginners. *There is a cloakroom space to place your shoes on the wall, and your coats. There is a cafe too which is convenient if you want to catch a light bite or refreshment before or after your class. *I took one star off because I could only see two toilet cubicles. If a few people need to change their clothes this is a bit of a bother as you will (as I did) end up running late for your class. So I would say wear your gear under clothes on arrival if at all possible. *In summary this is a great space for therapies and fitness, it has a very welcoming atmosphere and is easy to navigate. I will be coming back here.

This is a haven of a place. Lovely teachers and lovely classes on offer for all needs. Shake the stress off and come to this old charming building. It's a if you're stepping into another dimension. They're also very very good for teacher trainings.

I've practiced yoga for over fifteen years in various cities such as Sydney and London and took up a course here to study yoga instruction. One of the teachers was good but overall I felt it was below par in terms of practice style, facilities and mostly customer service effectiveness. Their charges don't match the service and if you want tea they take the water from the toilet sink. Totally not with it .

I joined the Elbowroom for almost two years for pilates and yoga classes. The place is amazing, very cozy and comfortable rooms with good lighting for yoga and meditation and all teachers are super experienced and knowledgeable. You have all sorts of yoga styles to choose among and teachers will adapt the exercises to all levels. Kudos to Kevin Boyle for yoga and Aideen Macken for pilates, they always know how to feed the energy and bring in new tricks :)

Absolutely beautiful place, great vibes. I love yoga that focuses more on mindfulness than “gym yoga”, and the studio is based in a grandiose old building repurposed as a multi room studio. It feels very much like you’re in an old church; there’s a very spiritual element for me. I’ll definitely be coming weekly.

Haven't attended classes for around a year and then came for 6pm hatha on Thursday to be blown away by how everything changed to the worse. Oversubscribed, people are late interrupting the practice all the time. Because people were not on time and there were too many of us there was no space left and we had to adjust at least three times, getting into each other's spaces. It was just as stressful as any day at work. What's next? Bulk beds to fit even more people in?
