They actually serve goose meats rather than duck, but their signboard remains as they started out their business serving duck meat and later changed to selling goose. Their goose meats are tender and not too greasy, goes super well with their rice noodles (soup).

The duck tastes rich and gamy, but there was some bone dust that impacts the overall enjoyment. The price is higher than what I expected.

Good resto! Funny name of resto is duck house but serve goose instead... Overall pretty good meal but abit pricy

I see a lot of mixed reviews for this place…I've only ever had their goose soup noodles which was good and inexpensive. From their menu I noticed everything else was pretty expensive so if you go there for a big meal you might have different impressions. For me it's a convenient location on busy Ximending for a convenient inexpensive tasty bowl of noodles.

Nothing special, soup is pretty plain. The goose is over chewy until its hard to chew. And its salty.

Ya Rou Bian which when direct translate from mandarin means “duck meat flatten”. Ironically, this shop does not serve duck meat, it serves goose meat instead. (I don't know why and have yet to find out.) It is quite pricey and I recommend at least 4 persons and above to get the best value out of it. You can order in different portion size. The vermicelli soup is flavourful and on the salty side (if you like savoury food). I only tried vermicelli as I like Taiwan vermicelli, which is very thin. The goose meat is served cold and tenderness of the meat is not consistent on different visits. (The sauce that drizzle over it is also very salty.) You can also try goose intestine and liver if you're up to it. (I didn't try as I'm not a fan of “internal parts”.) It's a good try if you like to try new food. And also an experience since this shop is one of the ironic foodie place. 3 star from me as I'm a picky eater.

The goose was quite nice but I had higher expectations before coming here.

Really good simple food, however a bit over priced. The service was average, I’m sure there are better pricing with the same quality restaurant around.
