An eclectic fusion of east meets west. A western-themed restaurant set in the confines of a traditional hanbok house. Gravalax. House cured, refrshingly citrus, palate cleansing throughout. Finished with micro greens. Next was the salted truffle shoestring fries. This gives the mayak (drug) gimbap a run for it's money. Better yet, eat both at the same time. Truffle risotto with sliced beef and al dente mangetout (sugar snap peas). Pleasantly perfumed with truffles yet not over powering the overall creamy umami beefy taste. Et finalement, le pièce de résistance. This wonderfully medium rare piece of Ibérico pork tomahawk chop did cartwheels in my mouth last night. Well seasoned, on a bed of potato velouté, and sweet bell peppers. Finished with orange & purple finishing salt. Compliments to the chef @kr.the94 & Jisu Kim, Class 3 @mitbootcamps alumnus, what a great concept restaurant. Western style dishes at the traditional Korean house
it was my first time being inside a hanok korean traditional house and this restaurant really impressed me. the food is exquisite and the waiters and the environment are top class. awesome find and recommended spot for anyone willing to impress their date.
Good food n cosy place
구석진 곳에 위치해 눈에 띠지 않는 한옥 레스토랑. 한옥의 ㄷ자 구조로 되어 있어 테이블들이 중앙 계산대를 중심으로 나뉘어 잘 배열된 느낌입니다. 둘이 가서 여러가지 음식을 먹어보진 못했지만 봉골레의 경우 조개가 매우 많이 들어가 일단 합격점. 제 입맛에 약간 짜다햇더니 곧 바로 조절해 주는 친절에 감사. 와인 가성비가 아주 좋은 듯 합니다
