Visited for widow pension claim. Staff right from watchman to clerical very much supportive. **carry required documents-** 1 - Death certificate original and Xerox 2 - Aadhar card and PAN card original and Xerox of nominee 3 - passbook (of nominee in the same branch of the bank as of the deceased) and Xerox of it's front page 4- PPO number of the deceased 5 - Form for the claim available at the office has to be signed by the nominee. When I visited in the morning 9am there were around 25 visitors and my form was submitted within 15 minutes. Had very good experience with the government office. On my earlier visit in October after lock down there were around 200 visitors and a long queue.

Government should close this office, Because no one is doing proper job in Thane office,I have submitted name correction documents 6 months ago and still there is no response.....

Service is not satisfactory at any level. When I personally visited office I come to know that phone numbers are changed which are given in photo. No space for parking your vehicle at EPFO office. Got good response on call with changed number.

very very very bad service of thane pf office i put a transfer claim form before 3 month but not cleared till now. In this period I call to epfo but not attend call. I put a clue of my account screen shot

My Requirement was to obtain an attested/stamped certificate of my PF balance. Initially I visited the PF office at the end of september but was told that most of the employees are not present due to the pandemic so they cannot provide the certificate & I was asked to raise a grievance on their portal on which I will definitely get a reply. After raising grievance for first time the case was disposed by the officer in-charge with solution that we can use the member passbook downloaded from EPFO portal but I wanted an attested & stamped copy. only. So I raised another grievance and to my surprise, was contacted by a PF officials who asked me to come down to the PF office & provided the certificate under 2 hours using their own format. The PF official was polite & very helpful. He resolved our queries also patiently. Date of raising grievance - 22 Oct'20 (Thursday) Date of Receiving the certificate - 26th Oct'20 (Monday)
