Dainik Malvan One of the best places in Thane serving Malvani food. We loved the seafood Malvani thali. It was very delicious. The quantity was also great. Staff is polite and service is quick. Good experience! This place is small and it gets full very soon.

I had a ok ok experience here. I ordered the bombil fry which costs 190/- but the size and taste was not worth the price. After that I ordered Pomfret thali which costs 350/-. Again the taste of the gravy was not that good. It was okayish types. Can try once.

Dainik Malvan is located in Charai at Thane. The place is relatively small and cater to about 25-30 people at full capacity. The place specialises in Malvani cuisine. The interiors are thoughtfully done to compliment the Malvani theme. They have a large variety in non veg and sea food. We being a big group ordered a little bit of everything : Starters / Appetisers Alu vadi Fries Pompfret fry Surmai fry Lobster bites Bombil fry Chicken pakoda Prawns Fry Crab Lollipop Main course Crab thali Chicken thali Mutton Thali Tisarya Thali Chicken Biryani Prawns Biryani Desert Gulab jamun The overall food quality was good. The Thalis are quite filling. The lobster bites and crab lollipops were the pick of the day.The preparation time is quick. A worthy recommendation to all coastal and Malvani food enthusiasts.

was craving some sea food dinner and had heard about this new place recently. Decided to go there. Must admit that the ambience was splendid. Made me very comfortable even before the dinner arrived. I ordered Bombay Duck fry and a surmai thali. The food was good, like every other malvani restaurant. Nothing extraordinary. Overall, a good place for sea food for a change.

Dainik Malvani ️ An amazing place in Charai are of Thane which serves authentic Malvani Food. I came across this place after a friend of mine told me about it. After hearing about their food I just couldn't resist myself from visiting Dainik Malvani. It's a small cozy place with nice decor. I loved the ambience, it gives you a feel of Malvan. We tried the following dishes: 1) Prawns Tava Fry: One of the finest Prawns dish that I have tried in a recent while. The prawns had a delicious coating and were melting in our mouth. 2) Surmai Tava Fry: Another crackling tava fry dish. The Surmai was cooked to perfection. It had the right balance of flavours and masalas. 3) Chicken Sukkha Thali: Kombdi Wade is my favourite dish and I ordered their Chicken Sukkha Thali with Wade. They also have options of Chapati andRice or Jowar Bhakri. I loved this Thali so much, the chicken sukkha was a delight and with the Wadas it was like a Cherry on the Cake. 4) Kolambi Masala Thali: One of the finest Prawns thali I have had in recent while. We went for Amboli because it really tastes good with malvani gravy. The kolambi masala was delicious with a lots of prawns in the gravy. This was a surprising dish for us and we loved it. Malvani food lovers must visit This place is located in charai and you will get share auto from station as well and it's so famous enough that auto guy will drop you to the place accurately. Iwent to this place with my family and really loved the place because they have all types of malvani food beat fish, crab or chicken and even the veg dishes are amazingly delicious I had tried: 1. Kombadi vade thali 2. Chicken dum biryani 3. Chicken pakode 4. Crab thali 5. Chicken lollipop 6. Gulab jamun 7. Surmai fry 8. Pomfret fry Out of all these dishes I loved the Kombadi vade thali and I tried it for the 2st time and I really loved the taste. Let me tell you about service because that Kaka is so helpful and even guided us for all the best dishes. Ratings ️Taste: 5/5 ️Quality: 5/5 ️Service: 5/5 ️Ambiance: 5/5 Everything is just so cool even though the place is small but it will win your heard with food.
