This is one of my favorite campsites ever! The bungalows are decent sized and cosy. The pool is nice and cool, but not cold, and there are lots of shop items you can buy at the shop, ice cream (my personal favourite), coffee, and more. The beach I so fun to play in and its huge, the hike to Waikiki is long and fun. There are lots of places to play sports, tennis, padelball, basketball and football. I love this place and will return.

We rented a bungalow last September and unfortunately it was quite dusty, you could feel it in the bedding and curtains. One of us had an allergic reaction that lasted for a few weeks!!! Not so clean overall. Not at all what you would expect for that price! At night, facilities in the camping close very early. On a positive note: the position is ideal if you enjoy the beach and sea, right in front of a big beach and walking distance from beautiful Waikiki beach.
Very large site, reasonable size pitches, the facilities blocks ( toilets showers etc) are excellent, some of the best we found. Mid September it was too hot for us, because our pitch had NO shade, we would have been better on a pitch further from the sea. Overall good, especially if you’re beach people, if you’re not then think carefully.
I did not camp here but I walked along the beach and it looks like a good spot.
Large (300 places), well organised camping site along the beach at Solimar. Sandy surface so pitches by the beach are soft and without shade. Premium spots next to beach with magnificent sea view. Other pitches under trees are very nice and on gravel. All facilities are outstanding and clean. Several shower/toilet blocks with sinks and large laundry. Electricity on all pitches and water near by. Sports courts and pool. Only down side is fast railway line running along side of site but fabulous beach and facilities make up fof this.
Nice place to stay with the kids
It have a good space and very good for family to visit
Lovely place. Good price will all facilities you would actually need that are well maintained. Also it has cafe, restaurant, swimming pool, small shop. Beach is less than a minute away. Also if you would like to have a walk there is a short walk along the beach to Tarragona. There is also longer one (around 15km) that ends up in city as well. Refer to Tarragona city tourist map or ask more info at reception. As for receptionist - all of them seem to understand English quite well so no need to worry in case your Spanish is not that good. As for downsides. Some plots have low trees thus migh cause difficulty in case you want to place very high tent or extend your caravan (backpackers shouldn't worry). Don't be afraid to ask staff to move you to different plot in case you don't like current one. They did that for me without any hassle. The major issue I would like to mention is that entire campsite is near railroad so you can hear trains. They stop only in the night - approximately between 11pm and 5am. So if you are a light sleeper his might cause some issues. For backpackers - the ground seems to be solid on all plots (like in most camsites across the Spain) so you will need a hammer to securely place your pegs into the ground. In case you won't be able to borrow one - you can buy on in the shop located at the campsite. If you want to reach this place from the city simply take bus 12 and get out at Mas Rabassa bus stop.
