I loved the dinosaurs. I never thought I'd get to see a T. rex or any other large dino bones. There are so many exhibits that I didn't get to see them all so I'll be going back.

it's a big museum in tokyo but inside, the displays has almost no translation in other languages. its not expensive to get inside, and descent size museum but almost no english translation? unless you get audio guide. also, it closes 5pm on weekdays. you need 5-6 hours if you wanna see everything. I was there from 1pm and i could see only like 60%.

Excellent for kids, with playgrounds where they can touch the actual stuffed animals like stags and wild cats on the third floor. Heck, I bet you’ll love this place if you’re a guy and had a thing for dinosaurs as a youth. I still did, and I'm 30.

Absolutely brilliant special insect exhibition marred by the lack of translation, even with the audio guide. Entry was 1600 plus 550 for the audio translation, which only contained a half hour overview loosely associated with a few exhibits. All of the exhibits have a title in Japanese followed by a subtitle in English, but only two panels have an English translation! The English subtitling intrigues you only to frustrate by not continuing past the subtitle - the same must also be true for Korean visitors without Japanese, only the first two panels are translated. Very frustrating!

恐竜の化石が沢山。化石好きな男女集まれ！(ソーシャルディスタンスを保ってね) 子供から、大人まで楽しめます。子供は化石に、大人は化石はもちろん、博物館自体の建物に興味津々でした。 博物館は事前に来館予約制になっており、混雑している様子もなく、対策をしっかりやってくださっているのが、良くわかりました。 安心して訪問出来る施設です。

大人一人で行っても結構楽しめます。 博物館としてはかなり大型で、地球館を普通に見て回ると2時間以上は楽しめます！ オススメは3階の生物の剥製が大量に飾られてるエリアです。 小さい子は怖がるかもしれないですけど、かなり迫力満点です。 地球館だけで歩き疲れると思うので、日本館と地球館で最低2日に分けて楽しむのが良いかなと思います。 ちなみに、3回以上行くならリピーターズパスご1500円という低価格で年間使えるので、最初からリピーターズパス手に入れるのもありかと。

すごい以外の言葉が出られないです。コロナの影響で閉館時間が早いため、見学時間がぎりぎりです。一日掛かりますので、充分な見学時間を用意するほうがいいですよ。
