I was a tenant renting via this agency recently for a couple of years. I would have left sooner had I had the means to do so due to their behaviour. If you want essential repairs to be ignored, if you want to wake up to strangers in your home who use keys without permission, questionable tradesmen and a list of other issues. If you want to deal with people who disregard you when you make any rightful complaint then this is the perfect agency for you. I would not usually leave reviews but I cannot recommend them even to my worst enemy I'm afraid.

The 'service' provided by Bartles Residential can be summed up in one word: diabolical. The owners and staff members are ignorant when it comes to following the rules and regulations under the law, as they feel they are above it. As a prospective tenant you are highly likely to face many unpleasantries, most of them being illegal. I beg you to think carefully before you get into bed with this agency.
I wouldn't recommend this estate agency if you are a prospective tenant. We were close to securing a property but without even bothering to inform us, they awarded the tenancy to another person and changed the rightmove listing to let agreed. A really shabby way to do business and not the way you should treat people. If that's how they treat potential tenants how do they treat tenants? Certainly an unprofessional way to do business. So no we wouldn't recommend Bartles Estate Agency if you are looking to rent a property.
