I attended a well run yoga class by YogaBar in the middle of Sydney CBD. 45 Minute duration which is perfect for lunch time.

Would like to give people a heads up if you ever try to sign up to classes hold by this one specific instructor called Mickie - this has happened to me actually twice already; when I was running late for literally two minutes into her class, she refuses to let me in even though the gym policy specifies that they give people a five minute window in case we get a little caught up at work. Absolutely disappointing and ridiculous to just get turned down to class when you are literally there already at the door. Not going to this person's class ever again.
Do not go to Mickie Du Boulay's class. Was late for 4 mins and she refused to let me in with rude attitude, telling me I was late. Hello? I took a train from my home in Erskinville especially for this class, and is it my fault for train's delay? And it's just 4 mins!!! So I wasted my time and transport fee rushing and running to attend the class. Reflected to yoga bar's via facebook message but they did not reply after seen it, looks like they don't care to lose one more customer.
I enjoy the classes and the location is very convenient, however, the way the studio is run makes it difficult to reconcile the full classes with the cancellation policy and a busy work schedule. Many of the classes fill extremely quickly, so you have to book almost a week in advance, however, the cancellation policy charges you 5 if you cancel within 3 hours of the class. So if you are a busy person who works in the Cbd, which is the benefit of the location, and you have a work schedule that may require you to work late some nights, you’ll be charged 5 for every class you miss. So basically, if more than once a week you are required to work late and have to miss a class (even if you reschedule for a later one) you end up paying the same price as with other gyms with larger class selections, availability, and amenities where you’re not fighting almost a week out for a spot in a class.
If I'm going to do yoga I'd prefer to not hear the music from the class next door pumping, and I want to feel peaceful before and after the class. It's all a bit intense, busy and commercial for my liking.
Great location and studio. Love teaching yoga here.
I went to Westfield bar yesterday to ask for membership options, etc. Reception was so reluctant to even talk & give some useful information. So disappointed, no wonder that the rating is so low...
Good place, wonderful environment but bit expensive. Love their Yoga Barre and Yoga beginner class. Cant continue because it costs alot.
