To get to The County Ground by road, you'll hopefully have safely navigated \The Magic Roundabout\ located near the Swindon Town FC home stadium at County Rd, Swindon, Wilts, SN1 2ED. The stadium has been there since 1879 and is of a decent construction with bits added or improved over time as The Robins bobbed-up-and down through the the various league divisions. We've managed to visit The County Ground, Swindon a few times in support of Northampton Town FC and, whilst it's not always easy to 'carbon date' particular fixtures, we particularly recall a memorable visit on Saturday 07-Apr-2001 for a FOOTBALL LEAGUE DIV 2 match when The Robins and The Cobblers played out a pretty lifeless 1-1 draw. Why so memorable a day then? Because, apart from the footie, it was also Grand National Day and one of our travelling party had 'lumped-on' the winner Red Marauder who romped home at 33/1 . . . to much rejoicing.

Went to watch the England Lionesses play Spain,England won 2-1.....The ground was packed a really good crowd and brilliant atmosphere,we all had a great time..Come On England.Hope they do well in the competition ️ xxx
